- Anti-Hazing Policy:
Warner Pacific University strictly prohibits all forms of hazing in accordance with Oregon state law (ORS 163.197 and ORS 350.259) and federal regulations. Hazing is defined as any intentional, knowing, or reckless act—by an individual or group—directed at another person in connection with joining, affiliating with, or maintaining membership in a student or campus-affiliated group. These acts may involve physical or emotional harm, humiliation, intimidation, forced consumption, sleep deprivation, or other unsafe behaviors, regardless of consent.
Hazing is a violation of University policy and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension, dismissal, termination, or loss of organizational recognition. It may also constitute a criminal offense under Oregon and federal law.
Warner Pacific University is committed to maintaining a Christ-centered, respectful, and safe campus environment where every individual’s dignity is upheld. Members of the community are encouraged to report hazing concerns—confidentially or anonymously—at Student Report.
