The business administration program’s completion time frame varies depending on the number of transferable credits a student has brought in through their previously completed college-level coursework. Students who transfer to WPU with an associate degree who have taken foundational courses (such as in English composition, math, science, social science, and humanities) are typically able to complete the program in approximately two years, or after earning about 60 semester credits.

An accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree program enables students to develop a broad foundational knowledge of business principles along with leadership skills, preparing them for a number of management roles in the business world. 

WPU’s BA in Business Administration program is designed as a degree completion program, allowing students with existing college credits to complete their degree on an accelerated timeline.

All MBA students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program, with no individual course grade lower than a C-, and finish all coursework within six years from their start date. Following the completion of the first five courses, WPU will evaluate each student’s performance. From this point, students will be directed to continue the MBA program or be recommended for the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree program.

Offered through WPU’s Professional and Graduate Studies (PGS) division, the BA in Business Administration program considers the unique needs of today’s adult learners, many of whom are balancing work and family responsibilities.

With rolling start dates throughout the year, students in the bachelor’s degree in business administration program may choose to participate in a 100% online, asynchronous learning experience or select a hybrid flexible (HyFlex) learning model, which includes one synchronous class per course that can be attended in person or remotely. Both options allow students to take one five-week course at a time.

In addition to the Healthcare Administration emphasis, WPU’s BA in Business Administration program has a Human Resource Management emphasis option available in the online and hybrid formats. WPU also offers a traditional on-campus Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration program with several emphasis options.

Students looking to minor in human resource management must complete 18 semester credits. Courses are each three credits and five weeks in length.
