The BS in Business Administration, Leadership and Management, curriculum includes six prerequisite course credits, 30 major course credits, and 18 emphasis course credits. Of the 54 total required credits, 22 credits must be completed in residence at WPU, and 28 credits must be in upper-division courses.

What are the admissions requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Accounting program?

All candidates interested in enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree program must meet WPU’s admissions requirements:

For traditional undergraduate students, requirements include:

• A completed application for admission

• Official transcripts from all schools attended

• A minimum 2.5 high school GPA

For transfer students, requirements include:

• A completed application for admission

• Official transcripts from all schools attended (high school transcripts are not required for students who have earned 12 or more credits since graduation)

• A minimum 2.0 transfer GPA

Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic standards are encouraged to apply. Additional materials may be required for review by the Admissions Review Committee. Some applicants may be asked to submit writing samples or personal references, or to participate in an Admissions interview.

Applications are accepted throughout the year, with a fall early application deadline of December 1; a priority application deadline of February 1; and a transfer application deadline of March 1. Learn more about our start dates and admissions requirements in our course catalog.

How long is the accelerated online business administration degree program?

The business administration program’s completion time frame varies depending on the number of transferable credits a student has brought in through their previously completed college-level coursework. Students who transfer to WPU with an associate degree who have taken foundational courses (such as English composition, math, science, social science, and humanities) are typically able to complete the program in approximately two years, or after earning 60 semester credits.

  • ILR 300A | Advanced Information Literacy and Research (Prerequisite: EN 121A) | 3 credits

What is an accelerated business administration degree?

An accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree program enables students to develop a broad foundational knowledge of business principles along with leadership skills, preparing them for a number of management roles in the business world. 

WPU’s BA in Business Administration program is designed as a degree completion program, allowing students with existing college credits to complete their degree on an accelerated timeline.

What are 4+1 MBA programs?

An accelerated Master of Business Administration 4+1 program is designed to help students who earn an undergraduate business degree earn an MBA more quickly than they would in a traditional MBA program. Students in the MBA 4+1 program at WPU Online can choose between a fully online or hybrid format to complete the high-quality master’s program that will allow them to develop the business acumen and leadership skills they need to advance in the business world.
