This year’s career fair at Warner Pacific University was bigger than ever.

Elise Burke, Assistant Director, Student Success and Career Services, partnered with Insight to organize the event.

About 157 people attended the April 17 career fair, which featured 25 employers from different sectors, offering information, internships and job opportunities.

This was the first time WPU partnered with an outside agency to put on the event and also the first time it was open to the public, Burke said.

Having the event open to the community had the added benefit of engaging with potential WPU students, she said.

Other services offered at the event included a job preparedness class and Goodwill Industries did free resume reviews.
