Gage Nguyen-Solis, MSW, Graduate Therapist and Outreach Coordinator

Gage is a student graduate therapist at Warner Pacific University, and is currently in graduate school for his Master’s of Social Work at Portland State University in its advanced standing program. He has an extensive background in working with a trauma informed, strengths based approach through therapeutic intervention, as well as crisis intervention. He has had the opportunity to work with individuals from every background and walk of life, including military veterans, inpatient programs, and the LGBTQIA+ community. He has case management, family dynamic intervention training and experience, and much of the earlier years of his career are in community based services with youth from the Portland community and its surrounding areas. He is motivated by the individuals he works with, wanting to draw on their strengths and help them achieve their goals for whatever that may mean for their well-being. Gage uses evidence based techniques, and practices, to help clients gain the most out of their therapy experiences, helping them to navigate their challenges in a positive, compassionate manner.

HOURS: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30AM-4:30 PM

Ki Gaines (she/her/hers), MA, LPC – Interim Director of Counseling and Clinical Supervisor

Ki comes to Warner Pacific with a decade of dedicated experience in counseling and education. Ki was inspired by her own journey of growing up without the support and guidance she craved and recognized her calling to become a therapist. She is driven by a deep desire to provide others with the warmth and trust needed during challenging times. Ki’s clinical practice is rooted in cultural sensitivity and inclusivity and has extensive experience working with diverse populations. Ki is driven by compassion and has made it her mission to foster an environment where everyone, regardless of background, feels seen, heard, and supported and individual unique challenges and needs are acknowledged and addressed. Ki specializes in navigating trauma, the crippling effects of depression, anxiety, and stress, and utilizing various grounding practices. By incorporating trauma-informed practices into her work, she is committed to promoting healing, resilience, and empowerment. Ki is dedicated to fostering open communication and ensuring a holistic approach to support student and staff wellbeing while in her role here at Warner Pacific.
