Our enthusiasm for your accomplishments cannot be diminished! While current pandemic guidelines still make a large in-person commencement ceremony unworkable, the Commencement Committee has planned a series of events for you to commemorate this important educational achievement with faculty, family, friends, and classmates.
Regalia Pickup and Official Graduation Portraits
Tuesday, April 20, 11 AM – 7 PM
Egtvedt Room 203 on Mt Tabor Campus
Eligible students can sign up for an individual time slot to pick up regalia and take their official graduation portrait. The portrait will be used for the virtual commencement video and will also be available for purchase. All graduates who ordered regalia have been sent information via email regarding this event. Face masks (covering the nose and mouth) are required on the Warner Pacific University campus; each student will be permitted to remove their mask briefly for their portrait.
If you have any questions about the regalia pickup, please contact email@example.com for assistance.
Virtual Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, May 8, 9 AM
The official Spring 2021 Virtual Commencement Ceremony Video will be released on this webpage at 9 am on May 8. Please plan to view with us!
Individual Stage Walk
Saturday, May 8, 10 AM – 1 PM
Outdoor Lawn on Mt Tabor Campus
Eligible students can sign up for a time slot to have their name called, walk across the stage, and receive their diploma cover from President Brian Johnson. Masters students will receive their hoods from selected family members or guests. The moment will be captured by a professional photographer; family and friends will watch from the base of the stage. In order to comply with Multnomah County size-of-gathering restrictions, each graduate may bring a maximum of 8 guests and all participants must exit once the graduate’s stage walk has concluded. Face masks (covering the nose and mouth) are required on the Warner Pacific University campus.
Optional Departmental Receptions
Time and location vary
Some departments will host receptions for students and will communicate directly with you regarding the planned event. Please communicate with your department faculty if you have any questions.
