A degree in Kinesiology is for students who love action and activity! Kinesiology explores the science of human movement. Through your studies, you learn how to help people live healthier lives through exercise, rehabilitation, and nutrition. At Warner Pacific University, our program develops skills and understanding to help support people who want to feel better, perform better, or heal better. Kinesiology is a good first step for students pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.

Setting and Opportunities

Graduates have gone on to Doctor of Physical Therapy programs, or other health-related careers. Many are owners, directors, or managers of companies that focus on sports and exercise.

WPU provides students a rigorous undergraduate educational experience with hands-on laboratory experiences.  Several WPU students have entered the Doctor of Physical Therapy at Pacific University, George Fox University, Saint Martin’s Universities, and Eastern Washington University.

Additional Items to Consider 

 Students will often need a GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for admission and complete observation hours
