Outcomes

With the successful completion of the major in Pastoral Studies, graduates will be able to:

  • Interpret Scripture faithfully using sound hermeneutical methods within historical, literary, and theological contexts.
  • Integrate theology and practice through engagement with the Wesleyan-Holiness and Church of God (Anderson) traditions.
  • Communicate the Gospel effectively through preaching, teaching, and creative expressions of ministry in diverse cultural and community contexts.
  • Lead congregations and ministries with spiritual depth, organizational skill, cultural awareness, and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrate ethical integrity in pastoral practice and decision-making.
