Biography
Katie Ketterling-Thornburg, DNP, is stepping into the role of Interim Associate Dean in the School of Nursing at Warner Pacific University. She brings with her a strong background in nursing education and practice. She first earned her Bachelor of Sciend in Nursing from Montana State University. She later went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University. Katie has built her career with eight years of experience as a registered nurse in maternal-child health and six years of practice as a nurse practitioner. Known for her dedication to both her profession and her family, she values balance as a mother and wife while fostering a student-centered, compassionate approach to leadership. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys coffee, music, and comedy, which reflect her warm and approachable personality.
