The 4+1 MBA program at WPU Online enables students who earn a BS or BA degree at Warner Pacific University with a major in business administration, accounting, or healthcare administration to apply for advanced placement in the MBA program.

Students must apply and be accepted into the MBA program within one year of graduating from their approved undergraduate program to qualify. Students will be required to maintain an overall 3.0 GPA and submit a proficiency essay as part of their graduate school application, demonstrating their knowledge in the five core areas eligible for advanced placement credits: leadership, accounting, marketing, economics, and global business.

If the student passes the proficiency essay assessment, advanced placement credits can be earned for BUS 501A, BUS 603A, BUS 606A, BUS 607A, and BUS 610A. No partial proficiency credit is available.

In the 4+1 MBA program, students who have earned credits for the above courses complete nine (six-week-long) courses, attending class in a 100% online, asynchronous format or in a hybrid flexible (HyFlex) format, which includes one synchronous class per course.

Regardless of the format:

• Expert faculty members bring their professional experiences into the classroom, enhancing the curriculum with real-world examples.

• Flexible rolling start dates throughout the year let you begin working toward your MBA as soon as possible, rather than wait a full semester.

• Courses use WPU’s Learning Communities cohort model, which is ideal for building connections with your fellow students and professors.
