Background
Prof. Michael Wilsey is a dedicated educator with more than four decades of teaching experience in mathematics and related disciplines. A lifelong Oregon resident since early childhood, he began his career at Clackamas High School, where he taught all levels of mathematics for 31 years and coached football and wrestling.

After retiring from Clackamas High in 2011, Prof. Wilsey joined Warner Pacific University in 2013, initially teaching in the Professional and Graduate Studies (PGS) program. In 2018, he transitioned to the traditional undergraduate program, where he has taught mathematics courses such as statistics and discrete math, as well as business-related courses in finance, accounting, and economics. Known for his approachable teaching style and dedication to student success, he integrates practical application with foundational skills to prepare students for both academic and professional growth.
