Biography
Coach Perrault serves as Full-Time Faculty at Warner Pacific University, where he leads the Sports Management program, teaches courses in kinesiology and health, and serves as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Deeply committed to the intersection of athletic performance and leadership theory, he is also currently pursuing a PhD in Sports Leadership and Management. Born in Germany and raised by a Colombian mother and a military father, he learned and speaks multiple languages and values the diverse world we all live in.

Coach Perrault’s approach in the classroom and on the court is grounded in a strong foundation of military leadership and advanced athletic education. After graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in international business, he served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He graduated from the Army’s Airborne and Ranger schools. The core values of discipline, accountability, responsibility, and team-first leadership forged during his military service guide his mentorship and guidance of student-athletes. Following his military career, he earned a Master of Arts in Physical Education and Single Subject Teaching Credential from Azusa Pacific University.

In addition to his academic and coaching roles at Warner Pacific, Coach P’s coaching experience spans youth programs, high school varsity teams, collegiate athletics, and professional organizations. As a dedicated trainer with the Portland chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), he partners with coaches, student-athletes, and parents to promote character development, life-skills mentorship, and positive culture-building on and off the court. Coach P applies a fair, firm, and FUN approach in all he does.
