On August 1, 2026, Dr. Christina M. Schnyders began her service as the ninth president of Warner Pacific University, bringing more than two decades of leadership in Christian higher education and a commitment to Christ-centered academic excellence, holistic student care, and institutional vision.
Her inauguration marks a significant moment in Warner Pacific’s history—honoring the University’s enduring mission while looking with purpose toward the future.

Parking will be available in University parking lots throughout campus. Accessible parking spaces are available for guests with appropriate permits. If campus parking reaches capacity, overflow parking will be available at All City Church, 2700 SE 67th Ave, Portland, OR 97206.
The Presidential Investiture Ceremony begins at 3:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 2:30 PM. Doors to McGuire Auditorium will open at 2:00 PM.
The ceremony will take place in McGuire Auditorium at Warner Pacific University, 2219 SE 68th Avenue, Portland, OR 97215.
Yes. Guests are asked to RSVP in advance.
Following the Investiture Ceremony, guests are invited to continue the celebration at a reception beginning at 5:00 pm on the A.F. Gray Lawn, adjacent to McGuire Auditorium.
We recommend Business or Professional Attire for all attending guests. Participating faculty, university delegates, and platform party members will wear academic regalia and will receive detailed robing instructions directly.
Accessible parking spaces are available on campus. Guests may access McGuire Auditorium directly from SE 68th Avenue through the auditorium entrance. An additional accessible route is available through Egtvedt Hall: take the elevator to the upper level, exit the building on the north side, and follow the sidewalk west to McGuire Auditorium.
Yes. The Presidential Investiture Ceremony will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. The livestream link will be available on this page closer to the event.
