Where Artistry Meets Community

The Tabor Wind Ensemble, established in January of this year, was conceived as an organization to provide a performance and continuing musical outlet for people from every background, ranging in age from teens to senior citizens, in the greater Portland area. The members are all volunteers united by their love of music, who join together weekly to rehearse and present a bi-annual concert schedule at Warner Pacific University’s McGuire Auditorium. The ensemble has a cooperative relationship with Warner Pacific University, where we rehearse and perform. College credit may be obtained by registering for the Tabor Wind Ensemble through Warner Pacific University. This course is offered both fall and spring semesters each year. This is a great way for high school and college students to earn extra credits towards college. Also, college graduates and teachers may earn additional continuing education credits, as well as professional development units.
