Marjie is an Adjunct Professor in Business and Marketing. She began teaching at Warner Pacific College in 2008 as an Adjunct Professor for the Adult Degree Program (ADP) and began teaching in the traditional program in 2014. She teaches courses including Introduction to Business, Marketing for Managers, Leadership & Supervision, Employee Development, Organizational Behavior & Design, and various courses in the online minors in Human Resources and Sales & Marketing.

Marjie has 15+ years experience in business. Professionally, her experiences cover a variety of different aspects of business including marketing, public relations, sales/advertising, e-communications, and undergraduate enrollment management. She worked for several years as a marketing communications manager, overseeing all aspects of marketing communications. She also worked as the e-communication manager at a large, private university. Currently, Marjie is involved partnering with a new non-profit business called Boomerang in Vancouver, WA.

Marjie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Master of Arts in Human and Organizational Development at Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA).

Marjie is passionate about “the human side of business.” She appreciates the intersection of faith and business and is motivated by the positive ways business can be a catalyst for benefiting our world. Marjie loves interacting with students and challenging them to dream big and put those dreams in to action.
