WP to Host IFF Church on campus

The International Fellowship Family (IFF) will begin using McGuire Auditorium for weekly church services beginning Sunday, March 18, 2012. Bishop Steven Holt, Senior Pastor of IFF, signed a one year agreement with Warner Pacific College in anticipation of services starting this Sunday morning at 10:00 am. Also included are adult and children's ministries in addition to corporate worship.

International Fellowship Family Church distinctives include the belief that all people are made in God's image and will only realize their true potential when they come into right relationship with Him. International Fellowship Family Church is a multi ethnic, multi generational urban contemporary congregation founded on the word, worship, and the love of God.

Bishop Holt believes that the primary purpose of IFF is to model Christ, follow Christ, and exemplify Christ to people of all backgrounds in order to draw them into relationship with Him.

The vision of IFF is "touching the nations by reaching the city." Their mission is to "build godly families, build healthy families, and bring others into the family," which emphasizes Bishop Holt's commitment to the health and success of families.

A Warner Pacific graduate, Bishop Holt holds a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry and Political Science. His ability to communicate effectively across racial, ethnic, and gender lines was demonstrated in the 1970's when he was involved in a program which bussed African-American children from their inner city neighborhoods to predominately white suburban schools. A Portland, Oregon native, Holt has been married to his wife Aundria for 25 years to and together they are the proud parents of three adult children and a granddaughter.
