Seven Track Athletes Headed to Nationals

nationalsPORTLAND, Ore. - After an outstanding season of track & field, seven Warner Pacific athletes will compete at the NAIA National Championships on May 26-28.

The group will travel to Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana for the event after the Knights enjoyed a record setting weekend at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship meet.

"We had a very successful CCC meet," said Coach Dave Lee. "49 of the 85 marks by our athletes were personal best efforts, and 10 of those 49 were WPC records. It has been a very rewarding year for all of our coaching staff to see our athletes improve week after week. It is an exciting time for Knight Track & Field and our program is really moving forward."

Athletes competing at the NAIA Championships are:

Leah Ballard - Marathon
