Career Center Launches Connections Club

WP139The Warner Pacific Career and Life Couseling Center is launching a new Career Connections Club. The purpose of this club is to bring WP students, alumni and community job seekers together to discuss career building & development.

Club topics will include:

  • Finding Job/Internship leads
  • Interviewing skill development
  • Learning about careers
  • Resume & Cover letter tips
  • Meet the employer events… and much more!

This groups is open to all WP students, alumni, and community job seekers and is free to all participants!

An open house will be held in Otto F. Linn Library on the Mt. Tabor campus on Friday, January 13th, 2012 with subsequent meetings held on the first and last Friday of every month.

Time: 1:00 - 2:00 pm

Nicole,
I am an alumni of WPC and a Sr. Juvenile Counselor with Lane County Department of Youth Services. If you have students who are interested in going into the field of Juvenile Probation I would be willing to talk to them, or would come to a class and do a presentation or question/answer session re: this career. Please let me know if you are interested.
