During its five-year span, 97 EPIC awards were presented to a diverse group of independent and CMO-affiliated schools.

Impact of the Program:

  • Awarded over $8 million to more than 1,800 charter school educators in exchange for sharing their effective practices so that others could learn from their success.
  • Researched, documented, and published more than 50 case studies and profiles of EPIC award-winning charter schools on the EPIC Knowledge System.
  • Provided more than 380 charter schools in the Consortium with tools and resources that they could use to drive their own student achievement gains.
  • Developed, in partnership with Mathematica Policy Research, a unique value-added model that allows comparison of test scores across different states to determine EPIC award winners.

Congratulations to these outstanding alums!
