Emotional First Aid Seminar

When: Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 8 am—4 pm

What: Learn the specific skills needed to assist friends, neighbors, coworkers, clients, family members, and strangers immediately following any type of tragedy.

Presented by: June Vining, Founder and Executive Director of Trauma Intervention Program of Portland/Vancouver, Inc.

Where: Kardatzke Hall (Mt. Tabor Campus)

Cost: $15 for no credit; $35/$50 for 1 academic credit (pass/no pass)

How to register:

Undergrad students taking the class for credit:

  • Register for PSY 340 through MyWP
  • $15 materials fee, however the tuition ($50) will be part of your tuition block

Adult Degree Program students taking the class for credit:

  • Complete the paper registration for PSY 340
  • Submit it to Records for processing
  • Contact your Academic Advisor to assist you
  • $15 materials fee and $35 for the credit

Any individual wishing to take the class for no credit:

  • Complete a registration form
  • Submit it to Records, specifying that you’ll be auditing the class
  • $15 materials fee, but NOT be charged an audit fee
