A skilled major gifts officer charged with cultivating, stewarding, and soliciting major and planned gift donors, Dr. Aaron McMurray brings a deep knowledge of institutional advancement strategies to his role as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External Relations. Before coming to Warner Pacific, Dr. McMurray served as the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations and Annual Giving at Whitworth University, where he provided oversight to the annual giving strategy and alumni participation.

In addition to his work in Advancement, McMurray has been an adjunct faculty member at both Whitworth and Gonzaga Universities. Prior to his time in higher education,         Dr. McMurray spent 10 years as a director for Young Life during which, he raised funds for operating budgets, as well as engaged in major gift cultivation.

Aaron and his wife, Darcy, have four children and live in Portland.
