The third annual Trick or Treat: Off the Streets was a great success! With over 40 student volunteers and donations from students, staff and faculty we were able to serve our neighbors on this crisp Halloween evening.
The little trick-or-treaters arrived in costume to the Big Party in McGuire auditorium where they participated in many activities. Activities at the Big Party included pumpkin bowling and ring the pumpkin, a coloring contest, fishing for treats, a cupcake walk, bean bag toss, decorating sugar cookies, photos with super heroes and a costume contest.
Parents were invited to warm up with a cup of hot cider and an array of refreshments provided by donation and by Sodexo.
Guests were also invited to trick or treat through the campus apartments and then visit the “Spooky” Haunted House that was created by the College Activities Board and student volunteers. McGuire was booming for the entire event and we look forward to serving our community through this event again next year!
