If you are planning to complete all degree requirements in Spring 2024, please watch your WPU email for instructions from the Registrar’s Office regarding your participation in the May 2024 Commencement Ceremony.

Spring 2024 Commencement Information Meetings

Regalia Pickup

Two Commencement Information Meetings will be held prior to commencement. Students will pick up their regalia at the information meeting.

• Wednesday, May 1: 6:00 pm –McGuire Auditorium, WPU Campus
• Thursday, May 2: 12:00 pm –McGuire Auditorium, WPU Campus

Please plan to attend one of these events.

Commencement Day Information

Here is an overview of the commencement day schedule so that you and your guests can plan accordingly.

Parking: Commencement Parking is available at the church facility.

Auditorium Entrance: Commencement will be held in the main sanctuary of the church. Doors will open for guest seating at 9 am, and the ceremony begins at 10 am.

Accessibility: Seating attendants will be available to assist with locating an accessible seat.

Celebrating your Graduate:  Flowers, leis, and appropriate congratulatory signage are wonderful options for celebrating your graduate.

Prohibited Items: Airhorns, noisemakers, confetti and balloons are not permitted in the event facility. Please do not bring any external food or drink into the facility.

Graduate Check-In and Line-Up: Graduates will gather in the meeting room to line up for the ceremony. All graduates should plan to check in at the gym between 9:00 – 9:15 on the morning of graduation and additional instructions will be provided.
